A durable jacket thanks to its good abrasion resistance
We test our fabrics in the laboratory based on various criteria including abrasion resistance.
To replicate the friction caused by the backpack straps, we perform a standardised Martindale test which involves rubbing the material of the jacket against another abrasive material. The aim is to measure the point at which the product starts to become worn & the pilling begins.
How to measure the fill power of a down and feather wadding?
For this jacket filled with 85% down / 15% feathers, the fill power is guaranteed to be 660 in鲁/30g.
The fill power is the capacity of the down to insulate by "trapping" a certain volume of air. Consequently, the higher the fill power (i.e. the higher the in鲁/30g number), the more space it occupies and the more air it traps thereby delivering more thermal insulation.

WATERPROOFING OF THE COMPONENTS OF THIS JACKET
The waterproofness of a fabric, provided by a coating or membrane, is measured in Schmerber or mm H虏0 (pressure exerted by a column of water). The higher this number, the more waterproof the fabric.
This jacket has a waterproof component (JIS 1092 standard) resistant to 5,000 mm H虏0 (Schmerber) before washing.

Adjustable hood, Cuff, hem
The cuffs has the hook & loop, so that you can adjust the fit at the wrist and prevent air and water from getting inside.
The hem is adjustable by using an elastic ribbon with a blocking to fix.
Removeable hood and high collar
The hood is zipper connected with the collar, it is removable based on the different usage condition needs.
And it can be tightened with an adjustable elasticated cords equipped with to better protect you from the different weather.
Fleece lining high collar keep you warm during the cold weather.
How important is windproofing?
Protection from the wind is critical, as wind can chill the body significantly whether you are active or at rest. According to the windchill model, which measures how the air temperature feels when factoring in the wind and cold: at a temperature of 5掳C combined with winds of 30 km/h, the temperature felt will be 0掳C. If the air temperature is 0掳C and wind speed is 40 km/h, the temperature felt will be -7掳C. Your warm jacket counters the windchill effect.
